Manchester City midfielder Ilkay Gundogan insists he's okay after a nasty clash with Cardiff City's Joe Ralls on Saturday.

Gundogan played down the X-rated challenge from Ralls during City's 0-5 win, which only received a yellow card from referee Michael Oliver.

He was caught high on the shin by Ralls' studs but the Germany international did not make a big issue of the matter.

“It's a little bit sore and a little bit painful now, but I was lucky.

"It was a bad challenge but it's OK," he said.
