Manchester City midfielder Ilkay Gündoğan admits it is "really annoying" having to play against Chelsea star N'Golo Kante.

The Frenchman has established himself as one of the best central midfielders in the world.

And Kante's notorious defensive pressure has annoyed Gundogan.

He told SportBible: "N'Golo Kante is someone who's really annoying for a midfielder.

"For a midfielder like me who's into passing and controlling the game, it's not easy to play against someone like him.

"You feel like you're past him and then he just appears again."
