Manchester City midfielder Fernando has identified his compatriots Roberto Firmino and Philippe Coutinho as Liverpool's main threats ahead of the Capital One Cup final.

City will meet the Reds in the League Cup decider at Wembley Stadium on February 28 and Fernando believes Jurgen Klopp's side will be led by two Brazilian attackers.

"They are a very confident team full of great players," he told the club's official website.

"We know it's not going to be an easy match but it is an opportunity to show our potential and our strengths and once again come away with the trophy against such a big team.

"Those two players are definitely great players. Firmino is going through a great phase and we don't even need to speak about Coutinho because we know the sort of player he is!

"We also have great players though and so we think it will be a great match."
