Sheffield United star Tommy Doyle spoke about his outstanding display against Tottenham.
Doyle, on loan from Manchester City, was the Blades' Player of the Match in their remarkable 1-0 FA Cup fifth round win over Spurs.
With the club one game away from a Wembley semi-final, Doyle was simply happy the team got the job done against their Premier League opponents.
“They are Premier League opposition and I want to be a Premier League footballer," Doyle said, per the Manchester Evening News.
“So playing Tottenham was a good occasion for me to see where I am at.
“I cannot deny that they have got some unbelievable players, internationals as well, who are playing at the top of their game.
“So, of course, I wanted to beat them. I wanted to show that I can play against them, so it was a good night for me."
