Manchester City midfielder Bernardo Silva admits he enjoys playing for manager Pep Guardiola.

Signed from Monaco in 2017, Silva enjoyed his finest season to date under the guidance of the Spaniard last year, as City once again lifted the Premier League title.

He told the club's website, "It's all in the details. Not only for me but for all the players it's a pleasure to be managed by him and the results show that."

The 25-year-old feels the combination of Guardiola's management style and his players is one of the main reasons behind their continued success.

"Over the last two seasons the way the team has played and the amount of trophies we have won shows that the players are good, the manager is good and it's the perfect combination."
