Man City midfielder Bernardo Silva hails young trio: Great every time they play

Manchester City midfielder Bernardo Silva has sung the praises of three young players.

While Phil Foden has been a member of the first team squad for a number of years now and everyone knows his quality, defensive duo Eric Garcia and Taylor Harwood-Bellis have also impressed this season.

"It's great. Every time they play," the Portuguese told Man City.

"Phil has been with us for a long time now and everyone knows how good he is but Eric or Taylor whenever they play they've been great, they've played together at 17, 18, 19 years-old and they play and it looks like they're 27 or 28.

"They're so calm, so relaxed, the way they read, the way they think, they way they have already adapted to the teams so it's good to see young kids and the quality that they have and how fast they adapt to the way the team plays."

Bernardo also revealed he tries to help the younger members of the squad feel at home amongst City's array of superstars.

"Just try and make them feel as comfortable as possible. I've gone through that when you're 18, 17 and you start training with huge players.

"Sometimes you're a bit shy, you don't train as you normally do with your teammates, so to make them feel comfortable, to make them feel at home, I think it's the best thing you can do for them.

"To train hard because you then learn a lot. it's a huge thing for them to learn and then develop their game."
