Manchester City have met the buyout clause of Benfica whiz Joao Felix.
The Sun says City have become favourites to sign Benfica wonderkid Felix after triggering his £106million release clause.
The 19-year-old has had an outstanding breakout season with the Portuguese champions and it appears City have moved ahead of both Manchester United and Real Madrid in the race to sign him.
City boss Pep Guardiola sees Felix as a prime target and have made the move to secure his services ahead of their rivals.
Reports have suggested that Benfica rebuffed attempts from both Real and United to sign their prized asset by saying that they won't sell him for anything less than £105m.
