Manchester City matchwinner Vincent Kompany says he wants to play on next season.
The Belgian struck the winner last night against Leicester City as his team returned to the top of the table.
"Absolutely not," Kompany said when asked if he was retiring at the end of his contract next month.
"I'm going to play football. I'm going to do exactly what I've done today for as long as I can. If you talk about emotions, nothing is written in stone yet.
"I show desire, belief. I hadn't scored this season but for me I always feel in big moments I'm going to do something.
"There was a little bit of frustration, because everyone was saying "don't shoot" and it was really annoying. I've not come this far for young players to tell me whether I can take a shot or not."
