Man City make moves on Indian market

City Football Group (CFG), owners of newly crowned Premier League champions Manchester City, has announced a partnership with Indian agency Kwanabler to build commercial opportunities in the country, reports, www.sportspromedia.com/

CFG's interest in the Indian market has been known for a while. Reports emerged earlier this year of the group's interest in buying Indian Super League (ISL) outfit Mumbai City.

Kwanabler, a subsidiary of Indian agency giant Kwan, provides end-to-end support for global sports, media and entertainment brands, companies, and investors looking to tap the Indian market.

The Indian firm has established a team to work with CFG led by chairman Ravi Krishnan, an industry veteran, with Kwan Sports chief executive Indranil Das Blah offering expertise in brand sales, celebrity endorsements, and sports marketing.
