Theo Walcott will stay at Arsenal this summer amid claims he might be on his way out at the Emirates.
A report in The Telegraph suggests that the 27-year-old has held talks wth manager Arsene Wenger regarding his future role with the Gunners, and is set to stay and fight for his spot in North London.
Walcott has been linked with Manchester City and Liverpool and there was further doubt cast over his Arsenal days after it emerged his current club had made a serious move for Leicester City's Jamie Vardy.
But it is understood that the England international, who missed out on Roy Hodgson's Three Lions squad for Euro2016, is happy to stay with the Gunners as he will not be directly competing with Vardy for the central striker role and will instead try to make the right wing position his own.
