Man City, Liverpool target Ter Stegen keen on Barcelona stay

Marc-Andre Ter Stegen has made it clear that he wants to remain a Barcelona player.

The 24-year-old German goalkeeper has been linked with a summer move to Manchester City while Liverpool have also been credited with a significant interest in his services.

There have been reports suggesting Ter Stegen is unhappy with his bit-part role under Luis Enrique and could fly the Nou Camp coop at the end of the season, but the former Borussia Monchengladbach stars has denied this claims.

"I'm very happy here and I want to stay here, with the life I have," he told the club's TV channel. "It's a lovely place to live.

"You can never relax and you always have to give everything. Both myself and Claudio (Bravo) and Jordi (Masip) want to play and we work week after week to do so.

"I think that this idea is good for the team, too, because we're always ready."
