Manchester United have been handed a clear run at signing Leicester City defender Harry Maguire.

The Sun says Manchester City have no intention of going anywhere near what the Foxes want for the 26-year-old England defender, leaving Red Devils boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer favourite to land a key summer target.

Leicester will only sell for £85m.

Leicester this week dismissed United's £70m offer of cash plus players, one of which was Argie defender Marcos Rojo.

With Maguire the focus of boss Solskjaer's summer re-build, executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward will almost certainly have to pay through the nose.
