Manchester City have launched a €50 MILLION bid for Fiorentina pair Stevan Jovetic and Matija Nastasic. Gazzetta dello Sport says City boss Roberto Mancini wants to bring both players to England this week.

City failed with an offer for Jovetic over the weekend and are now improving their bid - and adding a proposal to include Nastasic in the deal.

Striker Jovetic would arrive as cover for Sergio Aguero, who collected a knee injury yesterday against Southampton.

Young defender Nastasic, a favourite of Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson, has been likened to Nemanja Vidic and rated among the best young defensive talents in the game.
