Gremio striker Everton Soares is being linked with Manchester City.

ESPN Brasil says Soares has unfollowed his club on Instagram - fuelling rumours of a possible move to Man City.

The 22-year-old has been linked with a switch to the Etihad, with claims last week City had offered £55m for him.

Now the Brazil international has unfollowed Gremio on Instagram and changed his profile picture from a photo of him wearing a Gremio jersey to a picture on national team duty.

Although the player's representatives have claimed unfollowing Gremio was done by mistake as they 'cleaned' his social media accounts, the report by ESPN Brasil states it has fuelled rumours of a possible departure.
