Manchester City are keeping tabs on Luka Jovic from Eintracht Frankfurt.

The priority for City is to sign a defensive midfielder this summer, per Goal.com.

But the report also suggests they have their eye on 21-year-old striker Jovic, who is the top scorer in Germany this term.

He is a Benfica player, on a two year loan at Eintracht. But the German club has a clause to buy him permanently for a low fee.

They hope to complete the purchase and then sell him on for a major sum.

Barcelona and Chelsea also have an interest in the Serbia international.
