Man City keeping tabs on Atalanta fullback Robin Gosens

Manchester City are keeping tabs on Atalanta fullback Robin Gosens this season.

TMW, via Fotboll Transfers, says City have been scouting the left-back as manager Pep Guardiola considers his options in that position.

It's suggested Guardiola is prepared to see Oleksandr Zinchenko sold and Gosens signed as a replacement. The Catalan is eager to strengthen his fullback positions, despite their amazing run this season in all competitions. Victory over Wolves in the Premier League was their 21st consecutive win.

Atalanta may be forced to sell the 26-year-old this summer as his contract expires in 2022.

Gosens has scored nine goals and produced six assists in 30 competitive matches for Atalanta this season. The 26 year-old is a Germany international, though spent five years in Dutch football before making the move to La Dea.

He only made his debut with Germany earlier this season, despite his growing reputation across Europe.
