Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart insists they can still catch leaders Chelsea.
They overcame Manchester United's eight-point lead in the last six games in 2012.
"We know we can't afford to make too many more mistakes," said Hart. "We've slipped behind Chelsea, who are performing well, but there are plenty of twist and turns to come - as we saw last weekend.
"We're under pressure, but that's life when you are at a club like Manchester City. If we lose a game, the manager cops some flak. If I let in a goal then I'm under pressure, and if we miss chances then the rest of the lads feel that pressure.
"But that's why we are at this club. We aren't here to hide. The manager doesn't want to be manager of this club so he can hide.
"He fronts it up. He has been a great manager for us and he will continue to try and win things with us. This isn't an easy league to win. We've won two so far, but we're not satisfied with that.
"We want to win it three times, then four, then five. Because the two we have won have felt so, so good."
