Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart will play next season on-loan at Birmingham City.

City confirmed this morning that they have agreed to let their England Under-21 goalkeeper move in order to get first-team football.

Hart has been squeezed out at Eastlands since the arrival of Shay Given from Newcastle United in January.

City yesterday signed Stuart Taylor from Aston Villa, providing the cover they needed to let Hart go.
