Man City keen on Barcelona winger Francisco Trincao in swap talks

Manchester City are interested in Barcelona winger Francisco Trincao.

The Daily Mail says City boss Pep Guardiola is weighing up his options when it comes to the sale of Bernardo Silva.

The Portuguese midfielder is expected to leave the club in the coming weeks after growing unhappy at his role in the team.

Barcelona and Atletico Madrid have put forward proposals to sign the 26-year-old, and are in talks with Silva's agent Jorge Mendes over a £51.5m move.

It's understood that Silva is in favour of joining Barcelona, who he came close to signing for last year.

The La Liga giants are struggling financially and have put forward the idea of a swap deal to the Sky Blues.

Should this be the case, Guardiola's preference would be to take versatile defender Sergi Roberto and Portuguese winger Trincao.
