Manchester City are planning a surprise swoop for PSV Eindhoven fullback Angelino.
La Voz de Galicia says City have informed PSV they intend to trigger the buy-back option in Angelino's deal.
PSV signed Angelino last summer for €5.5m and now face losing the young Spaniard for €12m.
City are acting after PSG offered €25m for the fullback over the weekend. Despite being tied to PSV, it is City which control Angelino's transfer rights and now plan to re-sign him.
The Blues could yet to sell him on, with Arsenal and Barcelona also interested in the defender.
