Manchester City legend Yaya Toure admits his poor stint with Olympiakos has motivated him to play on next season.

Toure lasted barely six months in Greece before his deal was terminated midseason.

He told RTI: "There has been a lot of confusion about my future recently. I want to say that I love football and that I am still ready to play for a few more years. Yes, I am preparing for my qualifications to become a coach, but being a full time coach is not what I am thinking of at the moment. Now I am ready and focused to meet a new challenge playing football.

"And do not worry, when the time comes, I will announce my retirement personally and officially myself.

"I would like to go to a club where I would be more comfortable. I would try to bring things on and off the field. When I was a kid, football was a game, it became my passion and my job. I want to continue. My break made me understand that I wanted to continue. As long as I can play, I continue. I want to continue to live the adrenaline of football."

Toure has indicated he has several options, "I look at them attentively and I want that all the conditions are reunited, because I had a very bad experience at Olympiakos. I want to leave on a good note by doing my best."
