Manchester City have an edge on Manchester United in the race for Borussia Dortmund attacker Jadon Sancho.
The Sun says United will have to pay more for Sancho than City would if they strike a deal for the Borussia Dortmund ace.
City wrote a 20 per cent sell-on clause into the terms of the transfer agreement which took Sancho to Germany.
And, in order to cancel that out, Sancho will effectively be allowed to re-sign Sancho for 80 per cent of his market value if they launch a move.
United would, though, have to pay the fee in full.
