Manchester City ace Kevin de Bruyne was happy with victory over Aston Villa on Saturday.
De Bruyne struck in the 3-0 - which also saw teammate Fernandinho sent off.
He said, "In the first half maybe we lacked a bit of intensity and the rhythm was not really there, but in the second half we started well and we got a good performance in the end.
"Aston Villa had a couple of counter-attacks, this is going to happen when we play midweek as we did last Tuesday."
On Fernandinho's red card, De Bruyne: "It is part of the game, we have a lot of injuries and we coped with it well. Of course it is not nice because you want everyone to be involved."
