Manchester City fullback Kyle Walker says the players have never felt any doubts from manager Pep Guardiola.

Walker was reacting to Saturday's 2-2 draw at Newcastle United, leaving them 11 points behind leaders Liverpool.

Asked about the message from boss Guardiola in the aftermath, the fullback says it remained the same.

Walker said: “It is never going to be pleasant when you drop points but he believes in us.

“I have never seen a manager show so much belief and confidence in a team like he does."
