Man City fullback Walker: Liverpool pushing us to new heights

Manchester City fullback Kyle Walker says no-one inside the club believes they have the Premier League title sewn up.

This time last season, City had long since secured the Premier League and were ready to be presented with it.

However, the destination of this year's crown is still up in the air with two games to go.

City have 92 points already, just one more than Liverpool.

Walker said: “It is credit to both teams and both managers that there is a determination to go out every week and keep getting these wins.

“It might take 98 points to win the Premier League. I think Leicester won it with 81. It's crazy.

“I think next year it could be even harder. People will have to step up and try to match what us and Liverpool have done this year.

“I'm 29 at the end of this month. But I still feel fit, I played my 400th league game a few weeks ago, so I've racked up the numbers.

“But I'm still fit and healthy and — touch wood — I can keep going for many more years."
