Pep Guardiola tells his Manchester City players to forget about football when they are not on the training pitch or playing matches.
That is according to City fullback Kyle Walker.
The Citizens won their second successive Premier League title over the week, and Walker says Guardiola's techniques have helped his squad achieve success.
Walker said: “He is so intense but also tries to say to the lads: once we are here and two or three hours a day together it is full concentration.
“After he says that forget football. You need to go and live your lives, debrief and relax your mind really.
“Trust me, outside in training it is very very tiring on your mind with the amount of detail he puts in.
“That's what makes him achieve what he has achieved in the game. His love for the game. he has worked out his way from playing football.
“Some things are so simple and you kind of think why isn't it other coaches haven't done that."
