Manchester City's England U21 captain Micah Richards is shocked at his low standing now with Three Lions boss Fabio Capello.

Richards was an unused sub in Capello's first match in charge before missing three squads through injury.

He told the Sunday Mirror: "Glenn Johnson has been flying at right-back, and Wes Brown is with Manchester United, so I thought I may be next in line (for the Brazil game) or Gary Neville.

"But Mr Capello went for Luke Young and he turned it down. So I am disappointed that I did not get the call against Brazil."
