Manchester City defender Pedro Porro was proud to make his Spain debut on Sunday.

The on-loan Sporting CP fullback featured in the 2-1 World Cup qualifying win in Georgia.

Porro later remarked, "It is always good to debut with a victory, but it was a difficult game.

"We had to fight until the end, but we managed to win. It was very special. Since I was a child I dreamed of this.

"I am grateful to have made the first game and now it is to continue to work."
