Manchester City fullback Benjamin Mendy has discussed comparisons between manager Pep Guardiola and Leeds United boss Marcelo Bielsa.

Mendy played for Bielsa at Olympique Marseille.

He said, "With Pep it's going well, we have a good relationship. It's great when there is a good relationship with the coach. Marcelo Bielsa and Pep Guardiola have a respect for football.

"The most crazy? Bielsa wears his nickname, El Loco. In Marseille he made us do incredible things. His staff, his way of working ... But he was good with advice. He advised me to know how to play in several positions, and today it serves me."
