Steven Davis is reported to have asked Aston Villa to name their price for him.

The Birmingham Mail says the highly-regarded Northern Ireland international has not been made available for transfer by Martin O'Neill, contrary to reports.

But the Villa boss is unlikely to stand in Davis' way should an acceptable offer come in, thought to be in the region of £5million.

Fulham, Reading, Manchester City and Middlesbrough have all been linked with Davis, who endured a frustrating season last year, starting just 20 matches.
