Former Manchester City favourite Elano has praised Pep Guardiola's style of football as "amazing".

The Sky Blues sit on top of the Premier League with a goal difference of +31 and are yet to lose in their 12 matches.

And Elano says he's having fan watching his former club.

"I love football, I am passionate about the tactical side, about the way that Pep gets his teams to play, it is an amazing achievement," Elano told the club's official website.

He continued: "You're looking for movement all the time, you see how that movement is synchronised, you see that every player knows what to do and the ball arrives perfectly and that's something you don't see without playing."
