Manchester City are hoping the club will sign Tanguy Ndombele this summer.
It is clear that City want a defensive midfielder who can compete with Fernandinho for that position.
City are currently reliant on Fernandinho playing nearly every game, despite the fact that he is 33.
And a Manchester Evening News poll put Ndombele at the top of City fan's wish list for a new midfielder.
He got 49 percent of the vote in the Twitter poll, with N'Golo Kante in second place.
Adrien Rabiot and Ruben Neves were also featured as options.
