Man City fans forced to wait to welcome Toure

Manchester City fans must wait to welcome Barcelona midfielder Yaya Toure as their latest big-money signing.

The £28 million deal for Toure has stalled while Barca prepare to officially announce Sandro Rosell as new president. The ceremony will be held on July 1 and no transfer business is expected to be conducted until after Rosell's swearing in.

"The solution I think we'll have this week. Moreover, I would say that by 1 or July 2," said Dmitri Selcuk.

"Yes, we need to talk, but of course ... reality can change in a moment.

"Yaya wants to play in decisive matches and knows that with Manchester City he will be a key player. It's not a question of money and I have said this a thousand times, it is a trust issue."
