Manchester City are admirers of Atletico Madrid attacker Joao Felix.

The Premier League club made attempts to sign him when he was at Benfica.

Eventually, Felix ended up signing for Atletico, who were willing to offer a much higher transfer fee than City.

Three seasons later, Felix is not entirely happy at Atletico, and may be willing to leave.

The Athletic suggests that if City cannot convince Erling Haaland to sign for them in the summer, they may go back in for Felix.
