Manchester City face competition for Schalke defender Kyriakos Papadopoulos.
It broke last week that City had been in extensive talks with the Greece international's camp in the past month about a summer move to England.
City chiefs see Papadopoulos as a much-needed defensive reinforcement, with Kolo Toure leaving at season's end and Joleon Lescott pushing to be sold.
However, BILD says they won't get a clear run at the youngster, with Manchester United, Chelsea and Liverpool all in contact with Schalke to register their interest.
Papadopoulos' contract carries a €22.5 million buyout clause.
