The 23-year-old currently plays for New York City FC in the MLS but has caught the eye due to his impressive goalscoring returns in America.

Bologna are interested in Castellanos, with Everton and Newcastle also said to be weighing up moves.

Any deal, however, will hinge on the plans of NYFC's Premier League partners Manchester City.
