Manchester City are eyeing Aston Villa goalkeeper Stuart Taylor.

The Manchester Evening News says the Blues are expected to loan England under-21 stopper Joe Hart to Birmingham to give him valuable experience, and Taylor is a dependable, experienced 28-year-old with a Premier League winner's medal from his eight-year spell as understudy at Arsenal.

He could arrive at Eastlands as cover for City No1 Shay Given.
