Manchester City are eyeing Real Sociedad winger Mikel Oyarzabal as a replacement for Leroy Sane.
The 22-year-old Oyarzabal has scored 28 goals over the past two seasons and impressed for champions Spain in this summer's Under-21 European Championship.
Sane was close to a move to Bayern Munich in the summer and City are already prepared to reinvest in a replacement, says Sky Deutschland.
Oyarzabal, who came through the Sociedad academy, has impressed with his consistent level of performances in the past two seasons.
The Basque club are keen to retain his services but would be powerless if City chose to meet the £67million release clause in his contract.
