The son of Stoke City hero Rory Delap is a target for Manchester City.

The Mirror says Liam Delap, 16, has impressed in Derby County's youth set-up to earn the attention of the Premier League champions.

Delap Jr is wanted by City for their academy team.

Derby boss Frank Lampard will fight to keep hold of the youngster.

Liam Delap is a midfielder and has just completed an impressive season with the Rams U18s.
