Bersant Celina is one of the many youngsters Manchester City boss Manuel Pellegrini is taking a close look at this summer.
The 18-year-old Kosovo-Norwegian midfielder is part of City's touring party for their pre-season trip to Australia and is one of a bunch of Elite Development Squad players that the club is assessing ahead of the new Premier League season.
"Celina is one of the 10 or so (extra) players we have for pre-season (training). I know him because we work with Patrick Vieira's squad the whole year," the Chilean told reporters in Melbourne of the former Stromsgodset starlet.
"He is a good player with a lot of future. We have also too many players so we see which will be good enough to play on my team."
City take on Italian giants AS Roma at the MCG on Tuesday as part of the 2015 International Champions Cup before meeting Real Madrid at the same venue on Friday.
