MAN CITY DOWN UNDER: New players will only strengthen England setup - Hart

Joe Hart believes that the influx of English players to Manchester City this summer will go a long way in helping the national team.

City have predominantly purchased homegrown talent this summer by securing the services of Fabian Delph, Raheem Sterling and Patrick Roberts so far.

Goalkeeper Hart is pleased with the arrival of three talented Englishmen and suggests that the inclusions could go a long way in assisting the Three Lions.

"Plenty of things have been said about Manchester City but I'm very happy here and I know these new boys are too," said the England keeper in Australia.

"People will always have their opinions about this club but I've always said those on this side know what it is all about and are all very happy with the club as a whole.

"I've got some very good friends who are English and have played here and have nothing but good things to say about this club. Joleon (Lescott), Gareth (Barry), James Milner, Jack Rodwell, they've all won here. We're here to win, it's as simple as that.

"We lost Frank and James last year so we need to rebuild that, but the club are doing the right things. Patrick is obviously new to the game, but Fabian and Raheem had massive seasons last year. I know them from England and they'll fit in well.

"It can only bode well for England with our players playing for successful sides. If they're playing at a high level it makes it easier for Roy (Hodgson) to pick them."
