Man City dismiss Real Madrid Sterling interest

Manchester City have no immediate plans to sell Raheem Sterling, it has been revealed.

The Manchester Evening News says City have no plans to swap Raheem Sterling for Gareth Bale plus £70m - as was reported this morning in the UK.

City, though, have no reason to sell . Sterling signed a contract extension a year ago that made him one of the best-paid players and ties him to the club until 2023.

While the 24-year-old has not hid a desire to play abroad at some point in his career, he is settled in Manchester and an immovable part of the Premier League champions.

As well as having no intention of selling Sterling, the Blues would not be interested in signing Bale.
