Manchester City have had a £12 million bid for Wayne Bridge accepted by Chelsea.

The full-back will end five-and-a-half largely frustrating years at Stamford Bridge and become Mark Hughes' first signing of the January transfer window.

Bridge will be at City on Friday to discuss personal terms.
