Manchester City are not willing to part with Leroy Sane unless they receive a mega fee.
The Sun claims that to sanction such a late transfer for their talented German winger, City would want a whopping £145 million from Bayern Munich.
The German champions are the keenest to sign Sane, while he would be happy to return home.
But such a late transfer means City would have little chance to replace Sane, which is why the asking price has gone up from the fees mentioned earlier in the transfer window.
In fact, City have written to Bayern to express their anger at how the Germans have behaved throughout the Sane saga.
Bayern coach Niko Kovac mentioned earlier in the summer that he felt Sane would be signed by the club, when no deal had been agreed between the two sides.
