Manchester City defender Kolo Toure looks set to escape an extra drugs ban thanks to a case in America also involving water tablets.
Toure can return on September 2 but the World Anti Doping Agency could ask for the standard two-year suspension for the offence, says the Daily Star.
That is unlikely after US hammer thrower Jessica Cosby had a two-year ban reduced last month to four months on appeal after it was accepted she, like Toure, had not been seeking to enhance performance.
