Manchester City defender Nathan Ake admits his injury suffered with Holland is "frustrating".

Ake lasted just six minutes of the Netherlands' friendly against Spain on Wednesday.

Ake, starting in the left centre-back role for Holland, picked up an early hamstring injury and had to be replaced in the opening stages, giving City another injury concern.

Now, Ake has pledged to be back in action soon, taking to social media after the game to say: "Frustrating night! Hope to be back soon!"
