Manchester City defender Eliaquim Mangala is excited over his move to Valencia.

The Frenchman has joined Valencia on a season-long.

"I am very happy to be here and to play for a big team," said Mangala.

"I think it was my destiny. I had two chances before and the third was the final opportunity and I'm here now. It is very important to be here and I start training tomorrow and will play against Betis.

"I am here to show my quality and potential, it will be a full season with the help of my teammates and the goal is to be as close as possible to Barcelona, Real Madrid and Atletico."
