Manchester City defender Aymeric Laporte should've been sent off during their Champions League defeat at Real Madrid.
That's according to refereeing analyst Pavel Fernandez.
Tension was running high early on in Real Madrid's Champions League semi-final second leg with Manchester City, and things risked boiling over from the very off.
In the ninth minute came the first controversy of the match, which was handled by Italian official Daniele Orsato.
"Orsato starts badly, he gives Casemiro a very clear card," Pavel Fernandez said on Radio MARCA. "Then there was a confrontation between Laporte and Modric that resulted in two yellow cards.
"The Spaniard could have been red carded for hitting the Croatian in the face."
