Manchester City defender Aymeric Laporte has rejected talk of plans of leaving this summer.

Laporte has been linked with Barcelona, Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid.

AS reported a source close to Laporte stating: “It's a complicated scenario. He wants to feel important, but it seems that at City there will always be someone in front."

However, the defender soon responded to the reporter who wrote the story.

He posted to social media: "Dani (Gil), no one has spoken to you and no one will speak to you."
