Manchester City defender Aymeric Laporte has hopes of forcing his way into France's 2020 Euros squad.
Laporte is still waiting for a first cap, though has been part of coach Didier Deschamps' squad.
In September, Laporte was forced out of the Les Bleus squad after suffering a knee injury. He told Telefoot: "In my head, I said to myself, as if by chance ... As by chance, the day before going to the France team. It's not that you feel cursed, but there it is, maybe it's bad luck.
"But I'm back, I'm happy, everything is fine, I have no pain, I'm on the attack. I am trying to demonstrate that I have the qualities to be part of this French team. Of course, the Euros, if possible, would be better than anything."
